Why Use a Travel Advisor in 2026?

With all the travel websites, apps, AI tools, and social media influencers out there, you might wonder if travel advisors are still relevant.

The short answer? Absolutely.

Sure, you can spend hours researching online. You can compare 47 resorts, read 200 reviews, watch 15 YouTube videos, and ask AI to build the perfect itinerary. Before you know it, it's midnight and you're somehow less certain than when you started.

AI is great for generating ideas and helping you explore what's out there. It can point you in the right direction and introduce you to destinations you may not have considered. The catch is that AI doesn't always know if the information it's using is current. Resort details, flight schedules, travel requirements, and even hotel amenities can change, so the information can sometimes be outdated, incomplete, or just plain wrong. It still needs to be verified.

It also doesn't know that you're looking for a quiet adults-only resort, that you hate long layovers, or that the "ocean view" room you're considering requires binoculars to see the ocean.
