Beautiful Guadeloupe

Guadeloupe has officially earned a spot in my Top 10 trips!
From the moment I landed, this trip was the perfect mix of culture, adventure, and relaxation. I spent my days exploring everything from the colorful markets of Pointe-à-Pitre to the seaside charm of Sainte-Anne, tasting local flavors and soaking in the vibrant island energy. The views at Pointe des Châteaux and along Grande-Terre were absolutely breathtaking, one of those places that makes you stop and simply take it all in.
Basse-Terre offered a completely different side of the island, with lush rainforest drives, waterfalls hidden deep in the jungle, and incredible snorkeling in crystal-clear waters. Every corner felt like a new discovery.
One of the biggest highlights of the trip was sailing through the Grand Cul-de-Sac Marin lagoon and visiting Les Saintes, easily one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. With calm turquoise waters, colorful houses, and a relaxed island atmosphere, it felt like stepping into a postcard.
What I loved most about Guadeloupe was how diverse it felt. One moment you’re exploring French-Caribbean culture and bustling markets, and the next you’re surrounded by rainforest, volcanic landscapes, or quiet beaches with hardly anyone around. It’s the kind of destination that offers both adventure and relaxation without ever feeling overly touristy.
Whether you’re looking for beautiful beaches, authentic culture, outdoor adventure, or simply a place to slow down and soak in the scenery, Guadeloupe truly has something special. It’s a destination I know I’ll be thinking about for a very long time.
